About

Mailstead is a self-hosted webmail application for a custom domain. It is aimed at developers and small teams who will run one service and do not want to run a mail server. The software is released under the MIT licence by mabounassif.

The public site at mailstead.app describes the project. It does not host your mailbox. Each deployment has its own origin. Screenshots on this site use fictional demo mail.

Product behavior is defined by the repository, not by this website. The roadmap lists ideas that are not shipped. Security reports go to private advisories, not to a public issue.

What this site will not claim

• No customer counts, testimonials, or review scores.
• No guarantee of delivery, uptime, or a finished load test at 10–50 users.
• No statement that mail stays only on your server. Resend transports it.
